Introduction

In a world where only sixteen years have passed since the birth of Bitcoin, more than 200,000 tokens and coins have emerged. Each was created with a unique purpose — to serve people and contribute to the blockchain ecosystem. Yet, only a few have managed to stand out and endure.

One common point among most projects has been their reliance on Bitcoin’s whitepaper and its Proof of Work (PoW) mechanism. Bitcoin was a complete and groundbreaking project, but we believed that true innovation requires going beyond imitation — to create something meaningful and lasting.

Birth of the Idea

From this belief, the idea of a new kind of network was born — one that serves humanity and redefines the concept of mining. After months of study, experimentation, and reflection, we reached a new consensus mechanism:
Proof of Reading (POR).

But what should be read? What text could enlighten hearts, inspire kindness, and guide humanity toward divine living?
The answer was clear: The Holy Qur’an.

Qurancoin is the result of nearly a decade of effort, research, investment, and endurance. Along this journey, we experienced both kindness and hardship — but every challenge became a lesson, and every setback a step forward.
